π ❽ Top 10 IQ: n.8 - Leonardo da Vinci – IQ 180-190 ❽ π FULL LIST ► http://ift.tt/1GdFhx9 π π The 10 Highest IQs in History π ❽ 8 - Leonardo da Vinci – IQ 180-190 Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (15 April 1452 – 2 May 1519) was an Italian polymath, painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived. His genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance Man, a man of “unquenchable curiosity” and “feverishly inventive imagination”. Like Einstein, we cannot give an exact figure to represent da Vinci’s IQ as neither the concept nor the test existed in his time. However, experts have retroactively deduced that da Vinci’s IQ was most likely in the range of 180 to 190. Given all that he accomplished, it’s certainly plausible. Leonardo was the first famous polymath (an expert in various fields) and epitomizes the concept of the ‘Renaissance Man’ more than any human since. Da Vinci was an expert in painting, sculpting, music, mathematics, engineering, geology, cartography, and was an impressive writer to boot. Leonardo was, and is, renowned primarily as a painter. Among his works, the Mona Lisa is the most famous and most parodied portrait and The Last Supper the most reproduced religious painting of all time, with their fame approached only by Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. Leonardo’s drawing of the Vitruvian Man is also regarded as a cultural icon, being reproduced on items as varied as the euro coin, textbooks, and T-shirts. Perhaps fifteen of his paintings have survived, the small number because of his constant, and frequently disastrous, experimentation with new techniques. Nevertheless, these few works, together with his notebooks, which contain drawings, scientific diagrams, and his thoughts on the nature of painting, compose a contribution to later generations of artists rivaled only by that of his contemporary, Michelangelo. ► http://ift.tt/wlQmoi π π The Top 10 People with the highest IQs in Androidian History π FULL LIST ► http://ift.tt/1GdFhx9 π Please stay tuned on updates about Top 10 IQ SUBSCRIBE NOW: ► http://ift.tt/1Nc5k9b π
